Tornado R6/85/22 Grippled Pheasant & Game Stock Fence

Tornado R6/85/22 Grippled Stock Fence is a specialist high tensile pheasant and game fencing solution, developed in conjunction with the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust. Designed with fewer horizontal line wires than conventional stock fencing, it provides a more open barrier that allows game birds and pheasants to move freely through the fence, while still providing a practical boundary and livestock management solution.

Manufactured from high tensile galvanised steel wire, the R6/85/22 features 6 horizontal line wires, an overall height of 850mm and 220mm vertical stay spacing. The high tensile construction can be strained tighter than mild steel, helping create a strong, secure fence while potentially reducing the number of intermediate posts required. This makes it particularly suitable for game estates, shooting grounds, farms, woodland and rural land management.

The fence is supplied with Gripple fittings as standard, making installation and tensioning easier and more efficient. It also incorporates the Tornado high-pressure bonded Torus knot, which is unobtrusive and has no sharp protruding edges. Supplied in a 100m roll, this is a purpose-designed fencing solution for game-friendly environments where both effective fencing and wildlife movement are important.

The R6/85/22 configuration has been specifically developed to provide a more wildlife-friendly stock fence. With only six horizontal line wires, the wider open design allows pheasants and other game birds to move through the fencing more freely, helping to reduce unnecessary obstruction to game movement.

This makes it particularly well suited to game estates, shooting grounds, woodland and countryside environments where conventional stock fencing may provide too much restriction for game birds.
