Standard Double Strap Hinge Set

The TIMCO Standard Double Strap Hinge Set is a robust gate hinge solution designed to provide strong and reliable support for field gates and driveway gates mounted to timber gate posts. The double strap design features a top strap and bottom strap that wrap around the gate, helping distribute the load and securely hold the gate in position. Both straps are firmly attached using cup square carriage bolts, creating a dependable hinge arrangement for substantial timber gates.

Manufactured with a Hot Dipped Galvanised finish, the hinge set is designed for long-lasting protection against the elements and is well suited to outdoor agricultural, rural and domestic gate applications. Depending on the weight and distribution of the gate, the top or bottom pin can be mounted upside down to help prevent unwanted removal of the gate, providing an additional security feature.

Available in 300mm, 450mm and 600mm top strap lengths, the sets are suitable for different gate widths from 900mm to 3600mm. Each set includes the top strap, bottom strap, hook to drive, hook to bolt, carriage bolts, nuts, washers and exterior woodscrews, providing a complete hinge solution for installing field and driveway gates to timber posts.
