Oak Square Fence Posts are strong, dense hardwood posts offering a naturally durable and long-lasting solution for fencing, gates, landscaping and structural applications. Made from 100% natural oak, these heavy-duty square posts have a life expectancy of 20+ years, even when exposed to ground moisture or in constant contact with the ground. Their inherent durability means they require no preservative treatment, making them a straightforward and attractive alternative to treated softwood fence posts.

With their substantial square profiles and natural oak appearance, these posts are particularly well suited to supporting heavy timber or metal gates, robust fencing and other demanding landscaping structures. Available in a wide range of lengths and section sizes from 75mm through to 200mm, they offer flexibility for both domestic and larger-scale projects. The rough-sawn finish retains the character of the natural timber and gives these oak posts a strong, rustic appearance.

As a natural hardwood product, each post will have its own individual character. Splits, cracks, waney edges and slight bowing are to be expected and are a natural feature of oak rather than a defect. These characteristics give the timber an authentic, rustic appearance that works particularly well in traditional, rural and natural landscaping schemes. Posts can be cut to size with a suitable saw; any newly exposed cut surfaces should be treated with an appropriate wood preservative.
