Larix Decidua - European Larch

Larix decidua, commonly known as European Larch, is one of the few deciduous conifers and has become a classic feature of British woodlands since its introduction by John Tradescant in the seventeenth century.

With fast growth, fresh green spring needles, and striking golden-yellow autumn foliage, it is ideal for a variety of planting situations. The European Larch also provides valuable habitat and food for wildlife.

The European Larch is not normally pruned. Remove damaged or diseased branches as required to maintain tree health and shape.
