Gate Spring 250mm

The 250mm Gate Spring provides automatic closure for single-action timber or metal gates, helping ensure the gate returns to the closed position after opening. The spring tension can be adjusted to increase or decrease the closing force, allowing the gate to be set up to suit the application. This makes it a practical addition to garden gates, pedestrian gates and other single-action gate installations where automatic closing is required.

Available in Epoxy Black and Zinc finishes, the gate spring offers a choice of finish to suit different outdoor environments and gate styles. The Zinc version is Hot Dipped Galvanised and is suitable for urban and industrial areas with a moderate salt atmosphere. The Epoxy Black version is powder coated and designed for occasional wet or damp rural and sheltered areas.

Each gate spring measures 250mm overall, with a 191mm spring length, a 30mm backplate and four screw holes. Fixings are included, making installation straightforward. The adjustable spring tension provides flexibility when setting the required gate closing force, making this a useful solution for fencing contractors, landscapers, maintenance teams and DIY users.
