Abies nordmanniana, commonly known as Nordmann Fir or Caucasian Fir, is a majestic evergreen native to the Caucasus. Often seen as a premium Christmas tree, it has luxuriant, flattened foliage that remains attractive and does not shrivel in heated rooms.

Fast-growing after the initial years, it becomes a large, handsome specimen tree and is frequently planted to replace disease-prone Silver Fir.
