Winter Cover Crop Seed Mix 25kg SAM2 / CSAM2

The SAM2 / CSAM2 Winter Cover Crop Seed Mix is a specialist winter cover crop mixture designed to protect the soil surface while providing root growth that supports soil structure and soil biology. The mixture combines Spring Vetch, Mustard, Berseem/Crimson Clover, Oil Radish and Black Oats/Forage Rye, bringing together legumes, brassicas and cereals or grasses in a diverse cover crop formulation.

The mix is designed to provide soil cover during the winter period, helping to minimise nutrient leaching, soil erosion and runoff while supporting root development and soil structure. The stated height is 20–200cm, with a flowering period from May to September.

Sow at 25kg per hectare in late summer to early autumn, drilling or broadcasting into warm soils. This mixture is intended as a winter cover crop and cannot be harvested as a cash crop.
