Fast Growth Cover Crop Seed Mix 25kg SAM2 / CSAM2

The SAM2 / CSAM2 Fast Growth Cover Crop Seed Mix is a specialist cover crop mixture formulated for rapid establishment and strong plant growth during the cover crop period. The mixture contains Mustard, Oil Radish, Phacelia and Tillage Radish, combining brassica species with Phacelia to provide a diverse cover crop designed to protect the soil surface and provide root growth that supports soil structure and soil biology.

The formulation contains 50% Mustard, 30% Oil Radish, 10% Phacelia and 10% Tillage Radish. The mixture is intended to support soil protection while helping to minimise nutrient leaching, soil erosion and runoff. The stated height is 20–200cm, with a flowering period from May to September.

Sow at 12.5kg per hectare in late summer to early autumn, drilling or broadcasting into warm soils. A 25kg pack provides approximately 2 hectares of coverage at the recommended sowing rate. The mixture cannot be harvested as a cash crop. Always check the current requirements applying to your particular SFI or environmental land management action before establishment.
