Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Remove all existing vegetation to leave the area sterile.

Dig or rotovate the soil to a depth of 5–15cm, depending on compaction.

Rake off stones, clods, and debris to create a fine, level tilth.

Roll out the wildflower turf matting, pressing firmly to ensure good soil contact.

Butt each mat tightly together without overlapping or leaving gaps.

Water thoroughly immediately after laying, ensuring the soil beneath is damp.

Within a few days, gently lift a corner to check roots are knitting into the soil.

Cut around edges and obstacles using a serrated knife or half moon.

Fill gaps and edges for a professional finish if required.

Watering & Establishment

Water regularly for the first two weeks to prevent drying out

After establishment, water only during prolonged dry periods

Avoid heavy foot traffic during the first few months

Maintenance Guide

One annual cut in autumn is essential

Collect and remove all cuttings to prevent nutrient build-up

Products must be laid within 24–48 hours of delivery

Cancellations must be made as soon as possible after ordering

Orders can only be cancelled before cutting or dispatch

Once cutting has begun or goods are in transit, the full order value will be charged

Delivery dates must be confirmed at the time of order

On-Site Storage & Handling Advice

Unstack pallets immediately on delivery to allow airflow

Do not water turf while rolled

Store in a cool, shaded area

Lay on the same day where possible, especially in warm weather

In cooler conditions, lay within 48 hours

If delayed, unroll mats in strips to allow them to breathe

Deterioration caused by delayed laying is not covered by guarantee
