Ragged Robin Wildflower Seed

Ragged Robin (Silene flos-cuculi) is a charming native UK wildflower, easily recognised by its finely divided, deep pink petals that give it a ragged, feathery appearance. This perennial species thrives in damp meadows, stream banks, pond margins, and other moist, lowland habitats. Its unusual flowers provide important nectar sources for a range of insects, particularly butterflies, bees, and moths.
Often used in wetland restoration and wildlife-friendly planting schemes, Ragged Robin brings delicate texture and soft colour to naturalistic landscapes. It performs best in full sun or light shade on moisture-retentive soils and is a valuable addition to pollinator corridors and biodiversity-focused projects.
