The Waters Edge Mix is a native UK seed blend designed for wetlands, damp meadows, ditches, and other water-retaining areas. With 80% low-maintenance grasses and 20% moisture-loving wildflowers, it creates colourful, wildlife-friendly meadows in consistently damp or seasonally waterlogged soils. Species like Gypsywort, Meadowsweet, and Purple Loosestrife bring beauty, attract pollinators, and help stabilise the soil.

Sowing Information

When to Sow:

• Spring: March–May

• Autumn: August–October

Rate:

• 80/20 Grass & Wildflower Mix: 5g per m²

• Large areas: Approx. 50kg per hectare

How to Sow:

1. Clear the site of weeds and vegetation.

2. Mix seed with dry sand for even spreading.

3. Broadcast seeds evenly over the soil.

4. Lightly rake or roll to press seeds into contact with soil.

5. Keep the soil moist until plants establish.
