GT PP25 25mm Ground Reinforcement Grid

GT PP25 25mm Grid is a permeable plastic ground reinforcement grid designed for lightweight and domestic trafficking applications where a stable, practical surface is required without resorting to conventional impermeable paving. Supplied in interlocking 500 x 500mm grids, PP25 is easy to handle and install, with four individual grids forming each square metre. Its open-cell structure provides excellent versatility, allowing the finished surface to be filled with either rootzone soil and seeded for a natural grassed appearance, or suitable angular gravel for a durable decorative surface.

Manufactured using carefully selected recycled plastics, PP25 provides an economical solution for creating reinforced car parking areas, pedestrian and wheelchair access routes, cycle paths, caravan parking and shed bases. The interlocking hook-and-cap connection system creates a stable, robust surface, while the porous design allows water to pass through. When used with grass, the open cell structure helps support healthy grass growth; when filled with gravel, the cells help retain aggregate and reduce movement.

With a stated load-bearing capacity of up to 150 tonnes per m², PP25 offers impressive structural performance when installed correctly and on suitable ground conditions. It is UV-stabilised and compatible with bicycles, wheelchairs, golf carts, cars and caravans. For gravel applications, a 5–15mm angular gravel is recommended, while rootzone soil is suitable for creating a reinforced grass finish. The system is available with different installation approaches, including No-Dig, Temporary and Full installation options, making PP25 a flexible choice for domestic landscaping and ground reinforcement projects.

Grass or Gravel Finish

Grass finish: PP25 can be filled with suitable rootzone soil and seeded to create a natural-looking reinforced grass surface. The open-cell structure supports grass growth while providing reinforcement beneath the surface.

Gravel finish: For a decorative gravel surface, fill the grid with 5–15mm angular gravel. The cellular structure helps retain the gravel within the grid, creating a more stable and contained finished surface.

Installation

PP25 can be installed using three approaches depending on the project requirements: No-Dig, Temporary and Full installation. The appropriate installation method will depend on the intended application, ground conditions and expected traffic.
