How to Install Rolawn Medallion® Turf

1. Prepare the Ground

Remove weeds, stones and debris from the area. Cultivate the soil to a depth of approximately 100-150mm and level thoroughly.

2. Improve the Soil

Incorporate suitable topsoil or soil improver where required and rake to create a fine, level surface.

3. Firm and Level

Lightly tread or roll the area before raking again to achieve a smooth finish.

4. Lay the Turf

Begin laying turf immediately upon delivery. Butt edges tightly together without overlapping and stagger joints in a brickwork pattern.

5. Water Thoroughly

Water immediately after laying to ensure moisture reaches both the turf and underlying soil.

6. Ongoing Care

Keep the turf consistently moist during establishment and avoid heavy foot traffic until rooting is complete.

Delivery Information – Pallet Delivery Advisory

Important Pallet Delivery Notice

This product is supplied as a fresh-cut, living turf product and is delivered on a pallet via a kerbside pallet delivery service.

Please ensure:

Adequate access is available for a pallet delivery vehicle.
Someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery.
The delivery location is hard, level ground suitable for a pallet truck.
Pallet trucks cannot travel across gravel, grass, soft ground, steep slopes or steps.
Delivery is made to the nearest safe and accessible point at the driver's discretion.

Handling & Storage Requirements

As turf is a living and perishable product, correct handling is essential.

Unload turf from the pallet immediately upon delivery.
Do not leave turf stacked on the pallet for more than 12 hours.
Separate and unstack rolls to allow airflow.
Do not water turf while it remains rolled.
Store in a cool, shaded location away from direct sunlight.
Lay turf as soon as possible, particularly during warm weather.
During spring and summer, turf should ideally be laid on the day of delivery.
During autumn and winter, turf should be laid within 24 hours of delivery.
If installation is delayed, unroll the turf to allow it to breathe.

Failure to follow handling and storage recommendations may result in deterioration, discolouration or poor establishment.

Cancellation & Returns Policy

Important Information for Turf Orders

Rolawn Medallion® Turf is a fresh-cut, made-to-order, living product.

Because of its perishable nature:

Orders should only be placed once the installation area is fully prepared.
Cancellation requests must be made immediately after ordering.
Once an order has been confirmed for harvesting, cancellations cannot be accepted.
Orders that have been cut, dispatched or are already in transit cannot be cancelled.
Refused deliveries will be charged in full.
Returns are not accepted for turf products.
Customers must ensure delivery dates are suitable and that the site is ready to receive and lay the turf immediately upon arrival.

These conditions are necessary due to the perishable nature of fresh turf and in accordance with exclusions that apply to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
