The Makita DC18RD Twin Port Rapid Optimum Charger is engineered to charge two Makita 14.4V or 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion batteries simultaneously, significantly reducing downtime and increasing productivity on the job site. With its advanced charging technology, it ensures batteries are charged quickly and efficiently, allowing you to get back to work faster.

Equipped with a built-in CPU, the DC18RD communicates with each battery's chip during the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage, and temperature. The integrated dual-fan cooling system circulates air through the batteries, reducing charging time and preventing overheating.
