Lanzarta 1L is a professional-grade insecticide formulated for the control of the large pine weevil (Hylobius abietis), a significant pest affecting young conifer plantations in UK forestry. It is designed to help protect young trees from damage caused by pine weevil feeding, supporting successful establishment following planting and restocking.

The active ingredient in Lanzarta is imidacloprid, a systemic insecticide that targets the nervous system of insects. Following application, the active ingredient is absorbed and translocated within the plant, providing protection against feeding damage.

Application Rates

Application rate is 6 ml product/100 trees using a 0.3% solution (3 ml product per 1 litre water)

A maximum of 2 post-transplant foliar applications can be made with a hand-held sprayer
