Insect Mesh

Protect buildings, growing areas and outdoor spaces from unwanted insects with our Insect Mesh, a strong, semi-rigid plastic screening mesh manufactured from UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene). Featuring a fine 2mm x 2mm diamond mesh, it provides an effective physical barrier against small insects including flies, wasps, mosquitoes and other unwanted pests, while maintaining good airflow and light transmission.

Unlike flexible insect netting, this semi-rigid insect mesh is designed to retain its shape, making it particularly suitable for installation onto door frames, window frames, soffits, eaves and other fixed structures. It can help prevent insects from entering homes, commercial buildings, farm buildings, greenhouses and other enclosed areas, while also providing useful screening and protection around plants.

The mesh is UV stabilised and rot resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Available in convenient 1.2m wide rolls of 10m or 50m, the black mesh can also be used behind cladding, as garden or fencing screening, and in selected air and water filtration applications. Its fine 2mm mesh offers excellent insect protection without significantly restricting airflow or natural light.
