Gazelle SG 500g

Gazelle SG Insecticide 500g is a professional-use, water-soluble granule insecticide containing 20% w/w acetamiprid. It provides effective systemic control of aphids, whitefly and a broad range of economically important sucking and chewing insect pests across horticultural, ornamental and protected cropping systems.

Once applied, Gazelle is absorbed into the plant and transported through the sap system, allowing it to target pests feeding on treated plants while providing protection to new growth. This systemic activity helps maintain efficacy even where complete spray coverage is difficult to achieve.

Gazelle is approved for use on a range of crops including apples, pears, cherries, plums, protected tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and ornamental plants. It also offers control of additional pests including thrips, leafminers, leafhoppers, mealybugs, scale insects, capsids, certain beetles, weevils, flies and some caterpillar species, making it a versatile solution for professional growers, nurseries and landscape managers.

For optimum results, applications should be made at the first signs of pest activity before infestations become established.

Application Rates

Knapsack Sprayer

• 5g Gazelle SG per 10 litres of water

Coverage

• Approximately 5g treats up to 200m²

• 500g pack covers up to 20,000m² depending on crop and application rate

Field Application Rate

• Typically 250–500g per hectare

• Rate varies according to crop and pest pressure

How to Apply

1. Read the product label in full before use.

2. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves.

3. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.

4. Add the required quantity of Gazelle SG while agitating.

5. Top up with the remaining water and continue mixing.

6. Apply evenly to the target crop using a knapsack or boom sprayer.

7. Treat crops at the first signs of pest activity for optimum control.

Bee Safety

• Do not apply to flowering plants.

• Do not apply while bees or other pollinators are actively foraging.

• Early applications generally have less impact on beneficial insects than treatments applied after large infestations develop.

After Use

• Clean all application equipment thoroughly after use.

• Dispose of washings and packaging in accordance with local regulations.

• Monitor treated crops to assess pest control performance.

• Follow all label recommendations regarding re-entry periods and subsequent applications.
