Green-tech was delighted to host the Confor North Regional Committee Meeting on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, welcoming forestry and woodland sector representatives from across the region to their premises in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
The event brought together Confor committee members, industry partners and invited guests for a morning of discussion on key regional priorities, followed by a tour of Green-tech’s operational facility and a woodland site visit at Lotherton, organised by Tilhill.
The meeting focused on current policy and market issues affecting forestry and woodland management, including timber market conditions, sector updates, and developments impacting woodland owners and businesses.
Delegates were able to see Green-tech’s operations in action, with a site tour of the offices and extensive warehousing facilities. This was followed by a woodland visit to explore real-world application of materials and discuss woodland management and delivery on-site.
