InjectorDos Pro

The InjectorDos Pro is a high quality stainless steel stem injection applicator with the facility to ‘dial-in’ a pre-determined metered volume of spray liquid to be dispensed. Comes complete with carry case containing, one litre backpack and connecting hose. InjectorDos Pro is an injection applicator for invasive weed control, specifically designed for eliminating invasive weeds such as Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed and Horsetail. The InjectorDos Pro provides an effective and safe way to treat weeds in places where spray applicators are unsuitable. Stem injection works by injecting a precise dose of herbicide into each cane of the weed to be treated, typically Japanese knotweed, Giant Hogweed and other hollow stemmed species This measured application allows the herbicide to translocate throughout the roots and rhizomes of the targeted plant. Stem injection has a number of benefits over folia application of herbicide. It can be applied in all weathers and maximises the herbicide dose by eliminating waste and drift, delivering the optimum amount to exactly where required. The treatment is generally effective in 2 – 3 weeks as translocation of the herbicide is quicker than folia application.

Concentrated Herbicide Injection

The InjectorDos is suitable for injecting herbicide, usually undiluted herbicide containing glyphosate for example, Roundup Pro Biactive 450, into the stem of weeds with hollow stems e.g. Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica), where injection should take place between the second and third nodes using a one shot dose of 2ml of undiluted herbicide.

Only Targets Injected Weeds

The InjectorDos offers a safe and effective means of treating weeds in places adjoined by sensitive areas (e.g. close to watercourses) or where adjacent foliage needs to be preserved and a spray is unsuitable.

Quick & Simple Refilling

The InjectorDos comes with a one litre backpack to replenish the applicator via a length of hose. Liquid supply can be shut off using an in-line tap which allows for disconnection/isolation of the backpack from the applicator.
