Ecomatt Weed Control Fabric Mats

The Ecomatt Weed Control Fabric Mats offers a great tree weed spat option that degrades over two growing seasons*, and helps to reduce the impact on competing weeds and grasses around the area where tree planting is taking place.

Manufactured in the UK, exclusively for Green-tech Ltd from 100% recycled materials:

• 100% Recycled Jute: Re-used jute sacking and bags from the rice, cocoa and coffee trade.

The product is needle punched onto a film backing, to allow both air and water to pass through the layers.

Ecomatt benefits:

• Helps to suppress competing weed growth within the vicinity of the plants root development area.
• Allows water and air to percolate through the wool layer and helps to retain moisture in times of drought
• The matting/roll acts as an insulator and absorbs heat from the sun thus creating an assisted environment for the plant to establish itself.
• Totally degradable, lasting a minimum of two seasons

• Ecomatt is available in 2 weights, 450g and 750g
• Also available in 2 sizes, 50cm2 and 1m2.

Ecomatt Gradient Suitability

• For gradients up to 35° use 450g gt Ecomatt, in instances up to 45-50° we recommend the 750g product.
