gtRock Rolls

The gtRock Rolls UV stabilised polypropylene mesh filled with rounded type gabion stones. Ideal for creating a solid foundation for installing pre-vegetated coir products. The root of the emergent plants grow into the voids of the rock rolls, giving long term erosion control and bank support. gtRock Rolls installed below coir units can also be used to support a filter fabric or biodegradable matting. Due to the weight of these products specialist lifting equipment may be required for delivery and installation.

Rock Rolls are designed to help reduce and prevent long term erosion and allow for the ground to stay stabilised for long periods of time. The Rock Rolls are manufactured from a high strength poly-ethylene braided knotless net and formed into tubular bags, filled with 80 – 100mm granite stone they can be used on their own to provide on-going erosion protection or as part of a bioengineering solution to create a fully vegetated revetment.
