Green-tech becomes Platinum Perennial Partner for second year running

Green-tech becomes Platinum Perennial Partner for second year running

Perennial is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough.

Green-tech has confirmed that it will continue its ongoing support to the charity and has agreed to become a Platinum level partner for a second year running.

Perennial helps those who work in or are retired from horticulture and their dependent families by providing free and confidential advice, support and financial assistance.

Green-tech is a leading supplier to the landscaping industry and has recently announced the appointment of a new Managing Director, Kris Nellist, who takes over from Richard and Rachel Kay as they step away from the business following the acquisition by Origin Enterprises earlier this year. Kris comments,

“I have only recently been introduced to Perennial and I can see how they support a great many people and the demand on them has significantly increased because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Green-tech has always been a staunch supporter of Perennial and I am delighted that we are to remain a Perennial Platinum Partner. This is an essential charity and as a leading supplier to the industry, we want support those working in the UK horticulture industry.”

Perennial launched this industry corporate partnership programme in 2020 to raise much needed funds. There are numerous packages available for corporate sponsorship.

Phil Swainston, Perennial’s Corporate Partnership Manager adds,

“I am extremely grateful for the support Green-tech have offered Perennial over the last couple of years. Green-tech are a valued Perennial Partner and also offer us support in many other different ways. It is a great example of how the industry can support Perennial through Partnership, Fundraising and by finding different ways of spreading our message that Perennial is here for all those working in horticulture that need our help. Now, more than ever, is the time to be aware of the impact Covid-19 has had on the entire horticultural industry.”
