Green-tech’s Mark Browne named as one of the industry’s top young professionals

Green-tech is delighted to have one of their team named in Pro Landscaper Magazine ‘30 under 30’ - The Next Generation. Key Account Manager, Mark Browne, has been selected as one to watch in the recent winners list, which unearths the rising stars of the horticultural and landscaping industry.

30 Under 30: The Next Generation was initially launched by Pro Landscaper to help young people within the horticulture and landscape sectors gain recognition, celebrate their achievements and to promote them in a way that would enhance their careers. Nominations were invited from across all sectors and were judged by an expert panel who selected the top 30 candidates.

Mark started at Green-tech over five years ago and is a key member of the sales team. He manages some of Green-tech’s key accounts and brings in over £1.5m of turnover annually.

Mark said; “I am absolutely thrilled; firstly to be nominated and secondly to be chosen as one of 30 from the many entrants. I started working at Green-tech when I was 22 and had very little experience of sales and landscaping. I’ve been given the right support and guidance and have worked hard to be in the position that I’m in today. I’m working towards managing my own team and would love to be a known industry figure and a “go to” man. Being selected as a 30 under 30 is a great step in the right direction.”

Mark’s Head of Sales, Richard Gill is delighted for him and said, “Mark’s development and progression within the business has been exceptional. Mark works really hard; is a great team player and is a key member of my sales team. He has heaps of passion, drive and ambition and his colleagues and customers all hold him in the highest regard. Mark is a rising star within Green-tech and I am delighted that he has been recognised within the industry.”

Mark is the third person from Green-tech to have achieved this high accolade since the 30 under 30: The Next Generation initiative was launched in 2014.

The official presentation will be held at FutureScape 2017 on Tuesday 14 November at Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey.
